Another carnival parade tomorrow!
If you missed today's parade, they'll do it all over again tomorrow (Sunday) in Cambridge .
It's all about assimilating.
It's all about assimilating. Do these people know that they need to assimilate to OUR culture?!?!?!?
Our Culture?
Which of our cultures would that be? Or do you not get out much?
The girls in the halter tops
Should assimilate themselves into my bed.
OH!
Not sure how old you are
but those halter-tops look quite young.
They didn't build 'em like that when I was a teen.
Do they?
They look 18 to me. If they're not, pass.
My culture includes caribbean carnivals
and I'm GLAD!
Assimilation...
...is a two-way street. "OUR" culture is, or at least should be, embodied by the acceptance of people from all backgrounds, of different orientations, of different ages, and different social creeds.
While in many ways we should consider "OUR" culture as a "mixing bowl," it sometimes is treated more like a "tossed salad" by those who can't accept the heritage of various communities.
