A put-upon citizen files a complaint with the city about all the locks on the Mass. Ave. bridge over the turnpike near Boylston not because the weight is warping the bridge or will make the fence fall down but because:
A relationship should not be defined by human bondage and subjugation.

When did these locks suddenly become a thing? I walked by there for years and years, and there was always one lonely lock. For years. I used to wonder about it. Now all of a sudden it's a trendy Millennial thing. And we really know it's a trendy Millennial thing if someone is even dragging "a relationship should not be defined by human bondage and subjugation" into it. Some Berklee student or someone around there obviously has a lot of free time.

They've been brainwashed and programmed by the social justice machine. It's scary how warped the minds of young people have become. And yes, this was most definitely some kid who's barely our of high school and thinks they know everything that's wrong with the world and how to fix it.

Who said anything about the weight warping the bridge ? I only ask because if that was something that was said then the person who said so should be better informed and it would certainly be a good example of something indicating the need for more S.T.E.M. education around here.

It was a joke, but wasn't that an issue with the Paris bridge? Granted, it had way more locks ...

I don't have a link but Paris has had to find ways to prevent a resurgence of swarmlocks because the weight is too much for the old bridges.

Probably. The kids these days think other than being a polyamorous bisexual queer transgender transethnic non binary gender fluid you're a bigoted misogynist racist prude rethuglikkkan baby boomer parent of crotchspawn
I'm surprised they wanted Gay marriage considering how evil and patriarchal they think it is.

the Brooklyn Bridge!
can we all (lockers most of all) just agree it was a nice little trendy sentimental gesture of unparalled narcissism (other than the Trump candidacy) and move on...except can the next "Thing" be any better?
but the Brooklyn Bridge?
Shut up...
