Enhance!
The U.S. Attorney's Office has released previously unseen surveillance video which they say may be related to the 1990 Isabella Stewart Gardner heist:
The video also shows an unidentified man exiting the automobile and then being allowed inside the Museum, against Museum policy, by a security guard. That event occurred at 12:49 p.m. on March 17, 1990, almost exactly 24 hours before the thieves entered the museum through the same door.
The thieves who arrived the following night stole 13 works of art which are now valued at $500 million. The news release from the US Attorney continues:
While the images of both the vehicle and the unidentified man are low resolution, law enforcement officials hope that releasing the footage will assist with identifying the man or the vehicle in the video.
Anyone with information regarding the video should call the FBI at 617-742-5533 or the Isabella Gardner Museum at 617-278-5114.

and they didn't release the video back then because...

Whitey
Whitey Bulger had it.

Enhancements?
I don't know what I'm supposed to be seeing.
There are 3 different guys in the video, right? First is an older gentleman in front of the counter. Second is the long haired night watchman behind the counter. Third is the suspect in front of the counter at the 5 minute mark who then leaves and gets into the car out front? First guy is not a suspect?
Agreed
You know who knows who the guy with the up-turned leaving the building is? The old guy who let him in. Presumably he sleeps with the fishes. I find it odd that the camera seemingly captured every 2 seconds of video but did not get a picture of the guy with the up-turned colar coming into the building even though it captured him going out. At the very least, someone should edit this so that the Camera 1 and Camera 2 footage are separated from each other so that you can actually watch it without going insane.
Good idea
I find the bouncing back and forth confusing.
Definately needs editing.
Two seperate videos side by side would be good.
Did the old guy let him in? I thought the old guy left, crossed the street, and maybe got in the car. The guy with upturned collar seemed to come from around the corner and there isn't a good shot of him entering fully. And when he leaves he goes back around the corner and not across to the car. And then the car leaves.
It's hard to tell but the collar on the jacket appears to be identical (an elongated style). Are they wearing the same jacket?

Yes, I'm Also Wondering
Who was the older guy at the beginning of the video, and he's different than the guy who (I guess) comes in from the car?
I wish the FBI would label the people.
Cheesus Christ!
I had to click out before I had a mother fucking seizure!
There should be an epilepsy warning on this shit. I can't find my eyeballs.
It's not looking good for Abath.

His prior story of thinking the thieves were cops falls apart here. If he let two complete schlubs into the place at around 1:00am the prior night, knowing such was forbidden, he was probably the inside accomplice or painfully stupid.
And the interaction with the two others suggests familiarity.
Pathetic
This 25 year old grainy videotape stuff is ridiculous. Is this a joke, or did the local FBI just hire Richard Davey from Boston2024 & put him in charge of the ISG heist cold case unit? A few years back, I got drunk with an old timer at the Shipwreck Lounge on Revere Beach and he told me a crazy story that ended with the ISG paintings being owned by Walter Cronkhite on Martha's Vineyard who got nervous about his reputation as America's most trusted newsman being tarnished if the paintings were found in his possession after his death and then sold them to one of the heirs to the Saudi bin Laden Group construction company who lived in Cambridge in the 90s & fled the US back to Saudi in a private jet paid for by the US government on 9-12-2001 (along with the stolen art). Whatever, anyways I'll bet anybody a 20-piece chicken McNuggets from the Chinatown McDonalds that the stolen ISG art is NEVER found.
The Cast of Characters
According to a number of reports, the people seen in the video are (in order of appearance):
