Poor thing!
Must have been very freaked out by the weather. I hope he is home safe soon.
Such a beautiful dog. I so
Such a beautiful dog. I so much hope he finds his way home. I know how desperate you must feel.
Looks like my neighbor's dog
My neighbor has a coonhound, but I think it's older than 2.5 years old. Seems like a good dog, but noisy as hell if I walk outside when he's out for a walk in their yard.
Terrible news
Edited for meanness. Hope you find him safe & sound.
What a beautiful dog. I hope
What a beautiful dog. I hope you find him. I will now go hug my furry friend. Can't imagine the worry you must be going through.
What a handsome-looking dog!
Here's hoping that Poet (what a great name!) is safely re-united with his owner(s) soon!
Thank you and please keep spreading the word
Thank you everybody - Poet has not picked up by animal control/shelters, police or public works (that was a scary call to make). He does not know the area since he escaped from his sitter's house in Oak Square. I really believe, knowing his personality and how scared he is of humans that he is hiding himself well somewhere. Again, he doesn't have his harness on as he apparently chewed through it prior to escaping. PLEASE keep spreading the word and look for him in any hiding spots near your house if you are in the area. He is very loved. Thank you - Claire
Poet has been found!!
he was hiding as we suspected - we got a tip from someone hearing whining near Oakland Street, rushed over and sure enough found him hiding in the woods! He seems fine besides a little weight loss and weakness. Thank you everyone for keeping an eye out!! I've been overwhelmed by the support and concern of strangers - Claire
Send an update photo, people love good news :)
