Those sharks are getting out of hand, State Police say
State Police report a trooper dispatched to investigate a report of metal debris on I-190 didn't find any metal, but:
Trooper Paluk found this shark impeding traffic, causing a hazard. Disregarding his own safety, Trooper Paluk reeled in this shark, removing it from the roadway.
Once the shark was safely reeled in, Trooper Paluk secured it, in his two-tone blue vessel, and sailed away, leaving the motoring public, safe yet again.
Meanwhile, Bourne Police are urging motorists to take it slow near the Cape Cod Tunnel:
Please be careful entering the Canal Tunnel... BPD Nation member Doug Butler sent us this photo he took near the tunnel entrance where two lobsters apparently fell from their nearby nest. Nesting lobsters are extremely vulnerable due to the elastic bands that grow naturally around their claws. Thank you Doug for saving them and being kind enough to invite them home for dinner!
