Jim Nichols came across this scene in Roslindale Square this afternoon: A mismatch between the height of a van and the height of the Bank of America drive thru.

The whole drive through was recently rebuilt I think too, wasn't it?
BTW, that parking lot is the worst place in Roslindale on a Saturday morning. All the people who are angry about developments downtown drive to the square for shopping/banking and park there I think. No doubt the recent move of the thrift store won't improve the situation, but I'm still glad to see that space filled up after 10+ years of vacancy.

I beg to differ.. Village Market! Both the lot and the a-holes pulling out of in back onto Cornith through a HUGE do-not enter sign.

Replace 18-wheelers? All of them? No.
Replace the gigantic trucks that don't fit on urban roads for deliveries? Absolutely.
You really are completely unable to think in anything but compulsive absolutes.

I almost did that once.i was sitting in line for a drive thru CVS when I realized the work truck I was in was 8'1 and the overhead for CVS was 8, I noticed at the last moment. I was thrilled that I had saved myself the embarrassment of having to call my boss on that one!
