Two arrested for mid-day stabbing at Park Street earlier this month
Boston Police report arresting two people for an attack outside the Park Street T stop that sent a man to the hospital with multiple stab wounds on Oct. 8.
Robert Zagarella, 31, was charged with assault with intent to murder for the 3:30 p.m. attack. Meggan Durant, 28, of Roslindale, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Both are scheduled for arraignment in Boston Municipal Court.
Police say detectives compiled enough evidence to get arrest warrants for the two. And then:
At about 2:30 PM on October 22, 2015, members of the City-Wide Bicycle Unit were on directed patrol in the area of Mass Ave and Melnea Cass Boulevard in an attempt to locate the above suspects. Officers were able to locate and identify the wanted individuals in the area of 870 Mass Ave.

This is a relevant comment. My impression from the initial incident was that she was the stabber. What gives with these charges?

If I recall correctly, these were the 2 that "disappeared" into the crowd after the incident. Thank you police for locating these people 2 weeks after the matter.
The location of the arrests
The location of the arrests do not surprise me at all.
I'm going to be in-PC and say it
Given where the stabbing took place and the race of those involved, was there any surprise that they had Class E drug charges (heroin) priors and that they were picked up at the gateway to the Methadone Mile?
Those 2 are Andrew Square
Those 2 are Andrew Square/Methadone Mile regulars. Only 500 more to go.
Heroin
is Class A. It's considered the most hardcore, dangerous drug.
Class E drugs are prescription pills on the weaker side.
My bad
Still, I'll assume oxy or percs.
I also said I'll be in-PC. What the heck is that?
In Like Flynn
I think that's what Jeff Bridges did.
Class E prescription drugs
Class E prescription drugs are weak and carry less penalty than marijuana (which is class D). Percocet and Oxycontin both contain Oxycodone, are Class B, and federally classified as Schedule II narcotics.
