Line orderly, long at Walpole Walmart
By adamg on Fri, 11/27/2015 - 2:15am
The doors opened at 1 a.m. at the Walpole Walmart. Workers let in 10 to 15 shoppers - the earliest of whom had been there since 4 p.m. - at a time.
Just in case, four of Wapole's finest were on hand:
Exactly at midnight, a manager opened the employee's entrance and workers streamed in (shortly before the opening, they gathered in the front of the store for a pep rally that ended with them applauding):
Meanwhile, the line of shoppers stretched towards the end of the large parking lot:

Well...
Unless they were giving away Patti Labelle's pumpkin pie, the only newsworthy thing here is that cop's mustache.

Thanks Ron.
FYI, Rocky Woods in Medfield never charges for parking this time of year, and rarely does anyway.
My favorite place the day after Thanksgiving
I'm at work. There are five other people in my area and it's the most productive day of my work year.
The MIT Museum is good
I went there a couple of years ago. Even though it's a fraction of the size of the Museum of Science, it's just the right size and has plenty of exhibits.
Happy Black Friday, everyone!

Neither to trample nor be trampled, I wish you well!
Good to see that they are at
Good to see that they are at least nominally following the law on a Thanksgiving workday for non-managers. I still wonder how the Cambridgeside Galleria was planning to be open at the stroke of midnight this morning without many of the stores having any prep time.
