Teen stabbed to death in Dorchester

Around 4:35 p.m. at Columbia Road and Devon Street. Boston Police report he was 16 and that they have identified a "person of interest."

Police at first thought the teen had been shot.

The murder scene is a block from where police fatally shot a man after an incident in which two others were shot on Feb. 12.

This is happening too often. The ages of these violent suspects with knives or guns, and the victims are so young.

Boston.com is reporting that at the hospital, they found out he had actually been stabbed, rather than shot. Awful, regardless.
