![Dive boat in Charles River](https://universalhub.com/files/styles/main_image_-_bigger/public/images/2016/boatwater.jpg)
Aly watched a diver go into the Charles near North Point Park on the Cambridge side of the Charles this morning, near one of two areas pointed to by a search dog. Searchers have focused on the area around the train bridge just past North Station as they look for Zachary Marr, last seen outside the Bell in Hand downtown on Feb. 13.

The same thing happened last

The same thing happened last year from The Market bar when bouncers wouldn't let someone back in. Sadly, his body was found months later in the water. Maybe someone should train the bouncers not to prevent re-entry to the bar when it's freezing out and the person's coat and friends are on the inside.
And yet ...

The bar denies he was blocked from getting back in.
Of course they do.

That doesn't mean it's true.

They claim the video proves he did not try to reenter. The police have seen the video. The police did not refute their claim.
Got some background on that?

Where the bar refused the person's coat?
I hope they find him.

His poor father is destroyed over this. Even though there's evidently no foul play involved, it's still mysterious as to why he would leave without his coat and his cousins when they were only ten minutes behind him, and walk all the way to the river and climb onto a precarious train track bridge and try to cross it in the dark. I heard BPD speculate that he was trying to reach the commuter rail and unknowingly stepped into one of the openings in the tracks over the river. So sad.
I hope they find him too

I felt so badly for his father when I saw him on TV talking about his son. I hope they find him alive, but if they do not, at least find him so the family can have closure.
Or you can read a recent blog

Or you can read a recent blog post making the rounds that claims, with no actual evidence, that there is a serial killer on the loose and police are covering it up.....sure thing
I saw that

It reminded me of the time Reddit solved the Boston Marathon bombing by putting the blame on completely innocent people.
Some people will believe anything.
it seems that Boston is not the only place that has this issue

In planning an upcoming trip to Amsterdam I came across this article.

I've been saying this for YEARS. Drunk guys pee into water, fall in, die. Very sad accident.
I went to Amsterdam a few years ago

and went to some pubs and nightclubs at night, and wondered about that. Amsterdam is a favorite party spot for hard-drinking young British men, and then there's all the tourism based around weed, too. I wondered how many people fell in the canals while under the influence of some mind-altering substance or another.

One of the reasons Amsterdam began restricting foreigners' use of the "coffee shops" was that enough tourists ended up drowning in the canals.
