You know how they say this is New England and if you don't like the weather wait a minute?

Yeah, about that saying ... We're supposed to get more snow tomorrow.
In the meantime, though, Steve, at least, enjoyed the view down Talbot Avenue near Blue Hill Avenue around 6 a.m.

Ha ha local color!
I hope you realize that they say that everywhere in the country. There is literally no place you can go in the United States that some local will not confide in you that if you don't like the weather in [insert city, town, state, or county], just wait a minute.
(sigh)
Adam posts someone's beautiful photo of a quiet street in Roxbury and you have to bitch about his caption... what a sad little man you are.
Thank you
I haven't been called little in many years.
Who is more the ...
sad little man?
1) the person who points out what should be obvious, but too often isn't
2) the person who goes to great length to bitch about bitching
Not true
The weather on the West Coast and Hawaii is pretty uniform from day-to-day. In California, you can go weeks without checking a weather report before getting dressed in the morning, only realizing you've been doing so on Day 21 when the weather's changed and now you are improperly dressed. In Hawaii, the temperature's pretty much the same every day all year, but it rains often enough that you have to yes/no an umbrella before leaving for the day.
That's Funny
I grew up on the West Coast (North West, anyway) and people said the same 5 minutes thing.
California is not the entire West Coast, and even people in San Francisco say this same damned thing - their weather may not change as much day to day, but it can change wildly within any given day.
Yes and no
New England weather isn't uniquely volatile, but it has significantly more weather volatility than, say, Los Angeles does. Fivethirtyeight ran the numbers a bit ago and the most noticable difference is east/west of the Rockies, with the west coast having rather stable weather and the east not. Although the "winner" by their measure was in the midwest/great plains area, not here.
Still, one thing New England has going for it is that our average winter highs are close enough to 32F that we can easily switch between being below freezing and above freezing, with the change in weather that implies.
Mark Twain (who allegedly coined the phrase) was from Missouri, anyway. So we were certainly showing him more snow than he was used to, even though Missouri weather is plenty volatile in other ways.
I hope Mahty is okay....
...someone check on him please. I hope he's okay but am concerned about him because he hasn't yet cancelled classes for tomorrow.

You gonna drive them all to school?
How about driving all the teachers in from outlying areas in time to start school? Provide daycare so they can leave early and make it home late? Shovel out all the schools? Something tells me that you aren't.
That's not what I say
It's more like "If you like the weather, enjoy it for five minutes. If you don't...well, there may be some slight improvement by next Tuesday"
Way to go, Michael!
You said it!!
