Firefighters rescue naked, argumentative, possibly high man from Arlington lake

Arlington Police report the rescue of a man screaming in the middle of Mystic Lake despite his best efforts to jump out of a Fire Department boat.

Police say they and firefighters responded to Lake Shore Drive at 10:35 a.m. today on reports of a man "in distress" in the middle of the lake:

The first responding officer could hear a male yelling for help in the middle of the lake near Beverly Road. Officers and firefighters deployed the Arlington Fire Department life boat and went out into the water. As they approached the swimmer, he was combative and resisted rescue efforts, and rescuers found that he was naked in the water. Once rescued, first responders had to physically keep the man from jumping out of the rescue boat.

The allegedly ungrateful wretch, a 20-year-old Arlington man under the apparent influence of drugs, is, as they say, "known to police." He was taken by ambulance to a Boston hospital for observation, police say.

He wanted to take a dip ? It's quite warm out.

I am guessing Flokka. I don't know why but people tend to get naked and freak out on it.

Once you've already noted, "naked" and "argumentative", adding "possibly high" seems a bit unnecessary.

Just being snarky. :-)

Fuck you author of this article. Your biased and don't know anything about the event. Get a life and start writing like you are educated.

What really happened?

Didn't you get the same reaction the last time you posted a police report from Arlington? Could this article be about the same person? Or perhaps this anon was the same one who called you similar names before?

Honestly, I'd like to know what part of this report he (or she) is calling into question. Guy in the middle of Spot Pond? Naked? Not wanting help? Possibly on drugs?

You're

Yeah, author. Anyone qualified to comment on this would be properly educated on the subject. At the very least, he or she would have taken core courses like "Man vs. Nature," "Introduction to Screaming Lake Bros," and "Aquarage of Costal New England." He or she would also know the canon, including Belligerence and the Pastoral and the seminal tome Naked, Wet, and Angry: What's It to Ya, Fuckface?

I can put my minor in Littoral Psychology to use!

8th grade English, where one learns the difference between "your" and "you're".

A man was naked, in a lake, who appeared to be belligerent.

Over indulged Arlington spawn unite!
