If Dukakis answered that question from Bernard Shaw differently and no tank ad, if he would've been President..

CNN had hinted to the Dukakis staff (most likely to Susan Estrch) that this was going to be in the range of questioning.
Mike Dukakis is a great person who tried to do the right thing until that satanic spawn known as Lee Atwater was let loose by James Baker to do his worst.
The SNL line "I can't believe I'm loosing to this guy" still holds up.

I'd much rather Dukakis over Hillary or Sanders.
Is he still defending Tsarnaev's pal?

Is Dukakis still defending Tsarnaev's druggie pal, the man he took to the Democrat National Convention, who lied to investigators about the destruction of evidence in the Marathon Bombing? God bless the investigators who poured through a filthy landfill to piece together the evidence. Dukakis, great guy, right.

This person is an absolute inspiration! Come on....!
A former governor of this state (and DNC presidential candidate...) -- to sate the obvious -- walking around Brookline and Boston for *decades* picking up trash for no other reason than...it is trash.
About 15 years ago I saw him in a ditch full of weeds by the sidewalk in Boston and said "Mr. Dukakis?" Without looking up, he replied "If people are going to litter, someone's got to pick it up."
An absolute inspiration. Thanks for sharing this picture.
