State Police: Watertown man's need for speed wreaks havoc at Soldiers Field Road underpass in Brighton
State Police report a Watertown guy sent himself and another driver to the hospital - around 1:30 p.m. when he zoomed down Leo Birmingham Parkway, failed to make the turn at the overpass at Soldiers Field Road and plummeted onto that road, crashing into a pickup truck heading west while the fencing and guardrail he took out crashed into the roof of a car heading east.
The operator of the Honda was injured in the crash and was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital. The operator of the F150, a 34-year-old male from Taunton was transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for treatment of injuries he sustained from the crash. The operator of the Volvo, a 19-year-old male from Cambridge and his passenger were not injured in the crash.
There are no charges filed against the operator of the Honda at this time.

I'll go out on a limb and guess that the 33 year old male was white, you know, 'cause they didn't shoot him.
Question
The State Police may have some issues that BPD seems to have under control, BUT how many people have State Troopers killed in the last few years?
Not that there isn't room for improvement, but this isn't Missouri.
I was mostly being facetious
But if you drive your car off an overpass, you'd at least think speeding, marked lane violation and reckless endangerment would be gimmes.
