Citizen complaint of the day: As if an exploding toilet weren't bad enough
A disgusted citizen controls his or her gag reflex just long enough to file a complaint about conditions on Costello Place in Dorchester today:
Neighbor's toilet exploded inside of house, now the cleaning people are dumping lots of urine and feces water all the way down the street and it doesn't smell good. I would have to say there must be a safer and more healthier way of cleaning up the toilet and carpet problem.. We the neighbor's shouldn't have to smell this stuff all day. It gross and somebody gotta do something about this smelly contaminated water. Please send somebody!! :(

Something needs to be done about pooping cows on the Tobin.

Come on people
Jokes are okay but this shit is not funny.
Like we
give a crap.
Blatantly illegal
They are supposed to hire a containment truck. Dumping it down the storm drain is absolutely illegal.
Don't worry
I'm sure the city will give them a stern slap on the wrist.
A containment truck sounds like a sensible and legal way to go.
Dumping all the stuff from the exploded toilet down the storm drain is totally illegal, and dangerous, to boot.
There was a woman in our building (who's long since moved out, thank heavens!) that used to dump her dog-shit after taking her dog for its daily walks into a storm-drain that's right near our building. Unbeknownst to all of us until long after this stuff was taking place, and the woman who was the offender moved out, her dong what she did almost got our condo condemned! Whew! A close call! Fortunately, however, our (now ex) manager got on top of it and took the necessary steps to stop what this woman was doing.
Happily, however (even though this was a number of years ago), this has not happened since!
Can't say I blame them
Under normal conditions, I can't imagine this is acceptable health risk. With the excessive heat/humidity this would be so much worse.
I think I would have called 911.
