When my BF bitched that I brought home too many towels (we were hosting 6 houseguests and I did not want them air drying on the living room furniture) I told him that I will return them if I can bring home a human sized metal chicken. He does not read the Blogess so he missed the reference, but he was extremely enthusiastic at the thought of owning a huge chicken.
We now have a half dozen lesser chickens around the condo.I blame Jenny. I think you're right, Adam; this story is the gateway chicken to more chickens.
