![For sale: Old state sign board](https://universalhub.com/files/styles/main_image_-_bigger/public/images/2016/signboard.jpg)
For sale: One gently used, solar-powered message board of the type some rapscallion would no doubt use to mess with drivers' minds, but you would never in a million years think of abusing.
But just hypothetically, if you did have such a thing at your disposal, what would you do with it?
It's part of an online auction of stuff MassDOT is trying to get rid of, from an old intercity bus to backhoes to street sweepers.

How about I put it outside my parking garage in a historic part of the city, and use it to advertise all the historic attractions you can park for?
Oh wait, the government already does that. https://goo.gl/maps/BUR5GaVguRy

Let's buy a whole bunch and spread them all over eastern Massachusetts to display public service announcements in an exaggerated version of the local dialect to further reinforce an overly simplistic and grossly generalized view of how we speak in these parts. Oh, that's already been done too.
