Apparently it was a stolen car from J.P. There was a report that one of the occupants had died but the report was taken down and then it was 5 occupants, one seriously injured. Also conflicting reports as to whether the police were engaged in a chase with the stolen vehicle or not. Reportedly one person arrested.

Eyewitnesses testimonies and depictions of situations can be totally incorrect. Men of color have gone to jail because because incorrect eyewitness testimonies. I have a friend who went to jail for 25 years based on eyewitness testimony and police corruption.
As a man of color I never fully trust I witness testimonies.
