There are signs up along West Street in Hyde Park about a missing tortoise.
Update: His name is Pedro.

They should start a search party. Maybe late next week.
Where is Pedro?
Thank you all! His name is Pedro and I've had him for 10 years. These guys are quite the escape artists and can move many miles a day. The most legitimate tip I've received so far is that a home health aid picked him up and was going to drop him off at the Dedham Animal Rescue League (another tip mentioning he Boston ARL). All local animal rescues are aware that Pedro is missing. It would mean the world to me to make sure he's ok. Please call the phone number on the poster if you have any information.
What species and how big?
Keeping an eye out for, say, a 5" box tortoise is way different than something like a 150lb sulcata, and their walkable ranges would be very different.

He's a Russian Tortoise. About 8 inches long.
