Driver storrows his truck in Malden

Jenn came upon a wedged-in truck on Medford Street in Malden this afternoon.

That doesn't happen often

Must have been trying to find a "short cut" around the Wellington bridge building mess? Not much other reason to be travelling through there - the street runs from Mystic Valley Parkway in Medford to Main St. in Malden.

And, yes, there are warning signs (within sight of the low clearance height signs) that warn trucks to turn at the previous intersections on Medford St., and not to turn that way on Medford St. on Commercial.

Medford Street runs from the Fellsway, Mystic Valley Parkway is further south.

The road actually starts as Central Ave. in Medford at Park Street.

Surely you jest. Commercial Street just down the way, tons of commercial there. May also have been cutting off Main street heading to Highland ave , tons of economic activity. That area is the heart of the Malden Industrial Complex , also by- pass to Corporation Way Medford and Revere Beach Parkway behind Wellington Station.
