Nick Aldwin reports the driver of one car carrier didn't have much luck on Monsignor O'Brien Highway under the Green Line's Lechmere vidaduct this afternoon, winding up with a newly storrowed SUV.
Where was this? Where 28 crosses under the Green Line just south of Lechmere, the Gilmore Bridge, or Museum Way? None of them has a posted height restriction as far as I know.
I didn't read the description, and only saw the SUV getting loaded onto the truck, presumably to be towed away. Was thinking "how the hell could a Jeep not clear that"? Makes much more sense that it was on a car carrier.
I never said the bridge was low clearance, or that the vehicle was over height. I just said for information's sake that there was no posted clearance information.
