Turkey on I-93 in Dorchester

Adam Pieniazek reports traffic on I-93 south into town slowed to a crawl around 3 p.m. as people slowed to look at and photograph the turkey just ambling along in the breakdown lane.

About an hour later, Tom was still causing backups, but now on the offramp to Sullivan Square, as Ben Green shows us:

However, it may have been driven to this bleak place by the aggressive Canadian Geese, which were mucking up the traffic circle at 99 and 16 this noontime?

People causing a backup because they're slowing down to gape at a turkey? I could understand if it was a zebra or a manatee or something, but a TURKEY???

But 25 of his brave comrades are behind Mr. Pieniazek right now, beaks honed to a sharp point, waiting for someone to get out of the car. They will slaughter us wholesale in a few short weeks, so there's no choice but a preemptive strike.
