I saw it in the Globe and wanted to share it too. It enrages me how Trickle-Down Charlie and his MBTA Minions want to give a million bucks to a private company to tell them creative ways to donate many more millions to private companies. Think McKinsey might come back with a recommendation to shore up the MBTA's own facilities and capabilities for the long term, rather than farm things out to the private sector? That wouldn't be very capitalist now, would it?

or MBTA Pays Consultants To Tell It What Its In House Staff Already Knows.
I'm all for clearing out 10 Park Plaza. I'm shocked that half of the place hasn't died already from Scratch Card Dust Cancer, but for pete's sakes leave the rank and file alone to do their jobs.
Remember, when you are stuck in a repeat of the Winter of 2015 and no one knows how to operate the track plow because their job was cut owing to recommended cutbacks you can always stop by the nice offices on the 11th floor at Atlantic Wharf and ask McKinsey what's up.
The stations are beautiful well maintained and both have Transit police stations that are manned during operating hours. Next month the DCR bike path will be completed along with the Peace bridge connecting Milton and Mattapan. A great article by Jim Sullivan in today's Herald points out that the T should market the scenic line for tourism.

Maybe because it's Mattapan
Not exactly known for heavy foot traffic. Neither is the Ashmont area for that matter. No one is going out of their way for a 15-20 trolley ride.

Agreed
But not sure that's enough to entice a tourist
Wrong thread?
Guessing this was for the Mattapan article?
Yup
No idea how that happened
