Benine Timothee came here for a better life; she was shot dead
Boston Police have identified the woman shot to death on Washington Street in Dorchester's Four Corners Saturday afternoon as Benine Timothee, 36.
Friends have set up a GoFundMe page to help with her funeral costs:
Benine, 36, along with two of her seven children, ages 12 and 13, moved to the United States just three months ago. In the midst of transitioning to a new country and what would hope to be a better life, the family is completely devastated by this senseless act of violence.
Benine's husband works two low-paying jobs in order to support the family, but they are still struggling to pay all of their expenses.
Timothee was on her way to English class when she was killed by gunfire meant for somebody else, WFXT reports.

My condoelences to the family
My condoelences to the family look into the victim ofviolent crime fund through the state the attorney general should be ashamed of herself if she hasn't reached out to this family or any family that are victims of violent crime
AG is too busy risking
AG is too busy risking taxpayer funds on activist lawsuits campaigning to get herself into the Clinton administration to care about doing her real job.
MA has not had a nonpartisan AG genuinely interested in doing their job instead of campaigning for a higher office in decades.
god damn
Can't even be out walking around at 2 in the afternoon. This is absolutely tragic. It's one thing when gang bangers want to shoot at each other, but when they have no regard for people who have nothing to do with that life it's even worse.
