Man stabbed outside Central Square club

A Haverhill man was stabbed in the back, shoulder and forearm during a brawl outside a Mass. Ave. nightclub around 12:30 a.m., Cambridge Police report.

Police, who did not identify the specific club, say the victim and friends were leaving a concert when "a verbal and large physical altercation ensued."

The victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive, police say.
