Patrick Keogan, 44, of Wilmington, today pleaded guilty to charges of threatening the Islamic Center of Boston Cultural Center in Roxbury over Facebook, being a felon in possession of dozens of guns and ammunition and possession of child pornography.
Keogan will be sentenced on May 15 for the charges, the US Attorney's office in Boston reports.
Keogan posted a threat on the mosque's Facebook page on Nov. 14, the day after the multiple Paris attacks.

More evidence that right wing* nut jobs are a more dangerous threat to Americans than muslims.

Please, spare us with these baseless generalizations. What are you trying to achieve? There are nut jobs on both sides of the isle and nut jobs in all forms of religion. And yes this guy is a nut job, with a history of criminal behavior and he should be treated as such.

Assuming it was tropical, you'd think people on an isle would be less unhappy and crazy than this.
Baseless?

Who has killed more people in this country: Muslims, or right wing nut jobs?
Answer: right wing nut jobs. Eric Robert Rudolph, Dylan Roof, Timothy McVeigh, Posse Commitatus, John Salvi ... the list is lengthy and immense and includes lynchings, too. It all adds up to way more than 9/11 and The Bowling Green Massacre. Way, way more.
Wake the hell up - the people you should fear are your drinking buddies, CCD, not the guy with the turban who makes more money than you because he's worked harder. Consult the Southern Poverty Law Project website if you can't wrap your head around what your friends are up to.
You can keep an eye on the right wing nutjobs though..

They have specific goals and targets.
The 9/11 type people (although more rare) have a goal of killing random Americans and if they had the chance would probably blow up the entire country or kill the entire population. The Right wing is more confined to specific hate crimes and if they had the chance would probably not want to blow up the entire country or its people.
I don't think so unfortunately

I think the feedback loop of the alt-right and 'alt news' will eventually lead these people to conclude that mass attacks on blue state cities are justified because we are 'stealing their votes' or whatever. You think your basic issue Bundy / Ruby Ridge type wouldn't happily blow up a block in Brooklyn or SF or LA? I don't believe that at all any more.
It's not there yet but the fact that the MA Dem. run get out the vote operations in NH is being viewed as sinister by vocal visible leaders like Bannon, Miller and their ilk are the first steps down the path to some idiot thinking he has to take the fight to us.
No I don't think they would kill random people.
By Pete Nice

Bundy and Ruby Ridge people didn't go after anyone actually. Unless you mean people like McVeigh would would support those groups? Even he targeted a government building (with a complete disregard of the lives of those not involved with that building).
False equivalence

I'd say he's trying to reveal the truth that you're trying to obscure with your false equivalences, i.e., that since 9/11 -- and before, for that matter -- right-wing white terrorists are responsible for far more deaths in the US than Muslims.
(of course, this assumes that you don't count the Bowling Green Massacre)

I'm sure you'll respond thoughtfully when I ask you What You Are Trying To Achieve.

Looks like in June he changed a bunch of personal info about himself (school, job, etc) that is... well, suspiciously conspicuous. Either he was hacked, or is really good at trolling himself.
ETA: I initially thought he was arrested in June, but seeing as he wasn't arrested until November, those changes seem, well, like they were made by him time-wise. Must be a really charming guy.

Even if I avoid your ad-hominem to Swirly, there, if what you're out to prove is that you're not the stereotype, you're not doing a great job at it. From what I'm seeing you're actually playing right into it.
Not trying to be smug about this at all, just calling it like I see it.

You absolutely may feel free to think Swirly is right and I am wrong but it is a matter of opinion. If you have a problem with all Republicans and want to stereotype than that is your right. Just don't do like Adam and take a trip down south because you will only let yourself down. Also avoid retiring to the Carolinas. Enjoy the snow!

I mean, I know your brethren down there are really, really into voter suppression and gerrymandering and election nullification, but a Democrat did just win the governorship.
Funny how the Republicans used to be the party of low regulations and business growth and now not a one of you will stand up to speak against your white supremacists leaders in the White House.

Please don't go to NC expecting to find a vast abundance of cranky Liberals such as yourself despite one politician being a Democrate. I was simply trying to allow you to avoid great displeasure by suggesting you not visit the south. Adam couldn't respect it and I don't think you would either. Again, if you think I and all Republicans are white supremacist then fine. Nothing will ever change your mind. Don't forget to get the snow shovel ready for tonight's snow.

I don't think you are south enough. I've been working in the Gulf of Mexico for almost a decade. Anyone north of I-10 is an elitist yankee. I know a guy with a child named Remington, and yes it is from what you think. Plently of good people down here, more than plenty to reinforce 100% of my stereotypes and introduce me to a few more.
Bunch of things
By boo_urns

1) I avoided the comment to Swirly as to say that I wasn't defending her or commenting on that topic, specifically.
2) You missed my point entirely. I said that there is a known republican stereotype out there, I'm familiar with it, and you're really doing a good job at fitting its description. Sure, that's my opinion, but I trust my judgment on that. However, that does not mean that I stereotype every republican I meet (hell, I might not even know they are republican until they say it; at the very least I can hear a right-wing opinion, but that's a distinction of it's own).
3) I grew up spending summers in the south, as my dad grew up there and didn't move up to New England until he was nearly 30. His idea of his vacation was going back home to visit and do things with and for his mother, so me and the rest of my immediate family went, too. I also went to school for about a year in the south, in coal country. I know what I'm getting into down there, but I also met a fair enough amount of democrats, or at least left-leaning people. So, quite frankly, I don't need you to tell me about what's below the Mason-Dixon. I've seen it with my own eyes, especially the year I spent in coal country.
You said "Republican"

For example, just because your national party leaders are in bed with Russia doesn't mean that I think Charlie Baker is working for them. Or an anti-Semite.
Yes, I tend to be 'biased' against people who willingly choose to follow the current GOP national leaders like Bannon and Trump. Your side seems to be biased against people for factors than are not of their choosing, things like race or you know, having a congenital health condition.
