Paczkis in Boston?

Is there any place in/near Boston (T accessible) to get a good paczki for Fat Tuesday? Not a gross, dry grocery store one. I'd love to support a local bakery in my quest to stuff my face with delicious Polish pastries.

I'd recommend calling ahead. They're already taking orders for Fat Tuesday and Fat Thursday: 617-436-9766. https://www.facebook.com/djsmarketanddeli/

Check out Baltic Deli & Cafe on Dot Ave just south of the Andrew stop. There is also a Polish restaurant nearby. 632 Dorchester Ave # 1, South Boston, MA 02127

...when a Paczki query shows up on UHub? This sounded like a familiar request & sure enough here are two previous threads on the subject:

Bridge Street (Route 1A) in Salem.

The (T) from the Salem commuter rail station, take the North Beverly bus (451), I believe it runs down Bridge Street.

Ula Cafe in the brewery complex on Amory Street in Jamaica Plain usually has them for Fat Tuesday.

...as the OP asked. It's a couple blocks from the Stony Brook station. They're under new ownership as of the fall, so call first.

I saw them at Big Y in North Quincy, but did not buy them. Don't know how fresh or good.

If you have a Big Y near you they have them...

Big Y paczki are indeed pretty good (well, the filling is nothing to shout about, but when was the last time you had a jelly donut with a really good filling?), but I have no independent bakery standard of comparison.
