Three arrested for yesterday's stabbing on Tremont Street downtown

Boston Police report arresting two men and a woman for the stabbing in front of the Dunkin' Donuts yesterday afternoon on Tremont Street at Park - one who wound up at the hospital himself with stab wounds and another who was already under surveillance by BPD drug detectives.

Police say that because detectives already had their eye on Henry Vo, 22, of South Boston, officers knew to look for his blue Honda Odyssey - and on Charles Street, where he would often park it.

Officers canvassed the area and discovered the vehicle parked on South Charles Street. Officers approached and found Vo and the female suspect, 19-year-old Victoria Toledo of South Boston, sitting inside. In plain view of the officers was a large plastic bag of what appeared to be crack cocaine in the center console cup holder, a large amount of US currency, and what appeared to be a knife in an open bag on the seat. Officers took both Vo and Toledo into custody without further incident.

Police say that as officers were booking them, Mass. General reported a walk-in stab victim - it turned out the victim in the stabbing was not exactly defenseless. Jaden Clemenceau, 19, of Mattapan, was arrested after the doctors were done with him.

Vo was charged with armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, possession of crack with intent to distribute and possession of crack with intent to distribute within 100 feet of a park.

Cleamenceau was charged with armed assault with intent to murder and assault and batter by means of a dangerous weapon, police say.

Toldeo was charged with possession of crack with intent to distribute and possession of crack with intent to distribute within 100 feet of a park., police say.

Innocent, etc.

The police almost always provide the info in media releases. What's your point?

Sorry I didn't make it clear. Two posts down, I was saying that lots of people who get into fights in Boston are from outside of Boston, and in this post Adam mentioned they were from in Boston.

So, I was laughing.

Downtown Boston is an open air drug market, are our city officials ever going to address this?

What exactly would you want them to do?

A lot of people arrested in Boston are not Bostonians, they come for the services and the market. It is not to hard to rent an apartment from an absentee /landlord investor in the neighborhoods.

Are addicted to drugs. Some even sell them. It'd be nice for Boston to be this nice little nirvana because it would be so easy to whine about people from suburbs, but let's get a grip ...
