Three boys shot in Roxbury; their shooter may have been shot as well
UPDATE: Alleged shooter from Bromley-Heath arrested.
The Herald reports the boys, aged 10-12, were playing in a parking lot at the Academy Homes project around 8:15 last night by a sniper who sprayed them with bullets. Not long after, a man was shot as he ran away from the scene. All are expected to survive.
Boston Police report:
At around the same time, officers from Area E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 225 Centre Street. On arrival, officers located a 19 year-old black male suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot. According to the victim, he was walking down the street when he heard what sounded like a gunshot. The victim says he then felt pain in his ankle and, at that time, realized he was shot. While talking to the victim, officers discovered that the individual was in possession of an undisclosed amount of marijuana. As a result, officers charged the victim with Possession of a Class D Drug. Officers are also considering this individual a potential suspect in connection with the shooting incident at 68 Academy Terrace.

the PD can figure out pretty quickly whether he was not only in possession of the weed, but also had been firing a weapon, right? Bizarre story...
