Bus smashes into tree in Arlington

Michael Bradford reports an MBTA bus crashed into a tree on Mass. Ave. in Arlington Heights shortly before 6:30 a.m.

Arlington Police report the bus had no passengers when it crashed outside 1194 Mass. Ave., and that the driver was taken to a local hospital for observation.

didn't get any farlington-er than the green line. Glad it was empty.

The tree didn't make it. The bus is in serious condition.

But the only other victims were those who had to get through that part of Mass Ave this morning.
