That's perfectly reasonable. How come you didn't post the same enforcement rule to anon-y-mouses introduction of the Ashley Todd scandal on the ACORN thread, which received 15 responding comments (that tells me your readers are interested in the topic and that you found nothing objectionable about it.)
Also, it seems liveinvt is the only one to see the humor in my comment. You and Ron did not. Is snark now out of style here at Uhub? Can anybody tell me what aisle the kumquats are on?

The Acorn thread has an actual local link to a national political story. Yeah, that loser in Pittsburgh has no Boston connection, but you and other folks were already talking about national politics in there anyway.
A stupid throwaway post about the possibility of some wet snow tomorrow does not have the slightest connection to national politics (no, not even global warming and the Bush administration's misguided energy policies, so don't even think about it).
Yeah, I get what "a snow job" is. But your snark was about Todd, not about hyperventilating weathermen or lamer bloggers who have been making the same basic joke about those weathermen for years now. It was just an excuse to run a photo of a McCain supporter who carved a backwards B in her face.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to run down to Roche Bros. and figure out where they keep the bread these days because I'd hate to be snowed in with only enough bread for a couple slices of French toast.

My snark was about Todd and anon-y-mouse who posted Todd in the ACORN thread before she knew Ashley Todd's report was a fraud. In other words, she saw a chance to score points on a commenter (moi) with snark, only it backfired. A shame that. But they was no objection from the moderator (your choice.)
