Is there a limit to what can be pumpkin spiced? You'd hope so, but apparently not

Pumpkin-spice cough drops

Roving UHub photographer Joseph Gugliotta Jr. came across this monstrosity in the Davis Square CVS today, because nothing says "fall is here" quite like pumpkin-spice menthol cough drops.

Pumpkin spice cod liver oil.

And glimpsed today while grocery shopping? Pumpkin Spice Cheerios.

Just tell me there isn't pumpkin spice lubricant. Please.

Thanks.. that's a keeper.

I think the whole pumpkin spice phenomenon is just so... funny. So funny that I've kept alot of the fake pumpkin spice products in a folder on my computer. I created a album on Facebook of all of them a few days ago... have a look.

"Pumpkin Spice everywhere" movement are a bunch of mindless jerks who will be the first against the wall when the revolution comes.

Menthol?

(hurls)

Awesome idea, they can't be any worse tasting than menthol or lemon flavor. Equally annoying to the early pumpkin stuff is the mention of "crisp" weather, I'm hearing it way too much.

Cough drops are disgusting and they aren't beneficial. Now pumpkin spice Ugh!

I will attest to buying the last one at my local CVS, they were that popular, to help with my allergies this weekend. I can report back that they worked as advertised and had a rather mellow flavor. I was hoping for more spice but this was packing a very low key flavor. Actually it was one of the most mellow yet effective flavors of these I have had and I would have them again.
