Citizen complaint of the day: The marinara sauce came flying out a window
By adamg on Sun, 10/08/2017 - 10:36pm
A fed-up citizen complains about somebody who chucks his or her trash bags out the window on Henchman Street in the North End, rather than walking them down to the curb:
Often time, like tonight, the bags break open to create a mess on the sidewalk. Tonight it appears to be marinara sauce. Can the city figure out who his resident is and punish him or her accordingly? This person typically discards his or her trash between 9 and 10 in the evening.

Marinara sauce?
That's Italian!
Well, that certainly narrows it down ...
.
Does it only happen on
Does it happen only on Wednesdays?
No
This was on Henchman, not Prince.
Annnnnnthony!
mystery solved (and you will show your age if you see why).
Sloppy seconds
dd808 made that joke already, two levels up.
Old world charm
They probably dump their chamber pots into the storm drain every morning, too
Well
That's one way to keep the yuppies out of your neighborhood. Strew the streets with trash! That's how we did it in the old days! And we liked it!
Many of the newer residents
Many of the newer residents have been messy with their trash.
Reference point?
As in "did you ever walk around the area in the late 1980s"?
Like most of Boston, it used to be a 24/7/365 rat buffet.
Not really
You are just plain uniformed if you haven't heard about many of the complaints of newer residents in many of the neighborhoods leaving garbage out, you are a transplant. People here have talked about it.
One from here from many years
One from here from many years ago describing younger residents leaving a mess. Your opinion isn't exactly correct.
