The Dig reports, talks to a now former budtender for one dispensary about the issue.

...knowing so little about the topic. Is this mold problem caused by growing plants indoors? Indoor cultivation for crops at scale seems completely nuts and wasteful of resources.

Mold on weed has a very distinctive rank odor. Once it starts it doesn't stop, you can dry it completely and shake some spores out but then you're smoking dried spores. No bueno.
This has been a problem forever, especially back in the day when brick weed was comin into the country dry as hell in bales and needed to be re-humidified (for profit and presentation, lol). Some greedy distros wet that shit down way too much. I can recall buying batches that i had to leave out for days to air dry, only to discover you lost about 15-20% of the weight.
No way in hell this should be an issue with Medical distributors. It is a basic failure of quality control and greed in not wanting to scrap a crop that is unsafe for the end consumer.
SAD!

The more I read about NETA, the more I don't want to go there anymore to get anything. I've found better RMD's closer.. but NETA still has some of the best terpine pens..

Back in the day, I knew a guy that grew weed on his property for his own personal stash. Just some guy I knew and NOT ME.

At any rate, sinsemilla which are the unpollinated buds of the female plant only appear when there is less than 12 hours of daylight, i.e. after the solstice.

If you're anywhere up north, there could be cold and wet days that time of year and there is always the chance that those big fat sticky buds will catch some mold while maturing. Farmers always complain about the weather.
