Glad to see that you're so proud of being a pawn of Russian bots. Ever occur to your pea brain that the "memo" in question can be released by the small dicked moron that plays at being President or that the "memo" is coming from the deranged mind of Devin Nunes who was supposed to recuse himself from all this but has been so scared shitless about his part in all this, who cares, right?
Full disclosure...I'm a Russian bot

FYI - You talked about his dick again.
I discovered this site around 2006-2007 in preparation of Trump's election, and have been blending in among the other message board participants, until my admission today.
The memo will be out shortly, I'm hoping. Don't get your panties in a bunch, like in literally every other moment since this President's inauguration.

Daah. Why do people think undocumented immigrants mean people who don't have beige skin?

It was irresponsible for them to have never gained legal citizenship. Laws, rules, even taboos exist for a good reason; they prevent anarchy and hopefully prevent us reverting to our previous savage behaviors.

you seem pretty savage to me; no need to revert very far. In fact I imagine that your mom was more civilized than you.

And he was 12 went he arrived. It takes 5 years residency to be able to apply for citizenship. If they were settled down enough to eventually bring him over, they (or at least one of them) should have applied long before this would have been an issue.
It's not just the Irish...

Even in Indiana, a lot of white people who voted for Trump learned that the Mexican restaurant owner that they all liked was deported. He'd been here since he was a child. He ran a great restaurant that they all liked. They voted for Trump to get rid of the "bad hombres" and then lost their friend to ICE.

It's a story playing out thousands of times across the country. Sure, assholes on this board who haven't lost a friend to ICE deportation who might have been brought here at the age of 3 won't get it. They'll take the easily stated "it's only Trump being fair" stance as they've already started crowing. But families are being destroyed, small businesses crushed, and all sorts of people are getting tossed out with the bath water.
This has shit-all with being "fair" and everything to do with being impersonal and crude. The "rule of law" enabled our President to humanely apply our laws because our laws don't move at the same speed as our society. Our President enacted a rule to how ICE behaved that said we could both get rid of criminals attempting to abuse our graciousness while not destroying those who make our society better by being here.
Our next President intentionally removed that rule AND charged ICE with throwing out anyone they could find to send out of the country to "prove" his bona fides on being "tough on crime" and impress the simpletons who see this as "just being fair". And lo and behold! The easiest ones to find and throw out to quickly act on this new policy of "cleaning up" were the ones not trying to hide, but even VOLUNTEERED the fact that they were brought here as children and have been trying to live as right as they can be in the only country they've ever known. They've been waiting for a way to raise their hand and take an oath to our country in exchange for citizenship here. And instead, we put them in handcuffs and throw them out with even less than they had when they came here...while their family stays, separated, torn apart.
So, calling that "fair" is bullshit. It's not "fair". Fair would be to enable them to have citizenship and fix our immigration laws so that the next generation of parents bringing their 3 year old here never has to face this same problem. Fair is how our previous President attempted to make the law work to protect us while also protecting others who are citizens in everything but name only until the law could reflect reality. That was fair. This is brutal politicking supported by people who have no idea (and no interest in learning) what the impact their cheerleading is having on our country.

In your example, why was the Mexican restaurant owner deported in the first place? Felony perhaps?

If you can't handle that simple action to figure out that he didn't commit a felony, then me explaining it to you here isn't going to be of any use to either of us either.

History has taught us that we should be very wary of formalist appeals and legalistic justifications for outcomes that are blatantly unfair. It will never cease to amaze me how people can invoke a peremptory "but it's the LAW" and "enforce the LAW" but not actually consider very real human outcomes and loss to our civic life. The executive in this case (as with much police power at all levels) has discretion here. What is your conscience really saying with respect to the DACA volunteers?! The barely concealed (or outright) glee manifested by some of those cheering on this new enforcement regime is both cruel and disheartening.
