For first time in 50 years, Chinatown has a library
By adamg on Sat, 02/03/2018 - 2:37pm
City officials this morning formally opened the new Chinatown branch in the China Trade Center, on Boylston Street at Washington. The location is intended to be open for three to five years as the city looks for a location for a permanent branch.
The library includes bilingual staff and books, newspapers, magazines and DVDs in both English and Mandarin, as well as computers and WiFi.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.

Officials and ...
.....lions, of course!
Yay hurray for Chinatown!
Library Networks.
Boston Public Libraries and neighboring Cambridge Public Libraries can be on the same Library Network !

They used to be the same network
At some point, Cambridge, Brookline, and I think a few other suburbs jumped off BPL's network and onto Minuteman. Only Chelsea and Malden are still part of BPL's network.
Good stuff
It will be good to get something in that building.
It was a Chinese food court
What happened to that?
Not for...decades?
It hasn't been a food court since the '80s or early '90s as far as I know.
Even worse ..
Ron, if that comes as news to you, you're not going like what I have to tell you about RH Stearns & Co.
