Thank you for posting this. He was one of my favorite Boston-area performers, and it was clear that he cared deeply about his world.

I hope he is at peace. When I saw him talk (perform?) a few years ago, he evoked images that still haunt me.

Boston access Cablevision channel 3 and 8 back in the day The Mike McDonald comedy hour with host Mike McDonald with special guest comics Barry Crimmins, Steve Sweeney, DJ Hazzard, and many others. Loved watching all the episodes.
Boston has lost one of the greatest comics.

Mike MacDonald's old show was the only thing I ever really watched on BNN. It was really good stuff.
