Prius driver sought for Cambridge hit and run that sent teen to the hospital

CPD Seeking To ID Hit-and-Run Suspect

Cambridge Police are looking for help to ID the driver who hit a 14-year-old on a bicycle as the teen was turning from Western Avenue onto Putnam Street around 7:20 a.m. on March 15 - and then kept driving.

Police have released video of the vehicle, a silver Prius made between 2004 and 2009. If you know anybody with a silver Prius who might have been in the area, contact CPD Officer Christopher Sullivan at 617-349-3307 or [email protected].

Police report the teen is recovering from his injuries.

Prius narrows it down to half the cars in Cambridge.

In the first part, the Prius is passing a car on a street with a double yellow line. Then the car comes back. It makes me wonder if the person doubled back to see what happened.

In any event, a bad driver looking worse for not stopping after hitting the kid. Hope the kid has a full recovery and that they track this person down.

This Prius didn't have a Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren sticker on the back. That should narrow it down to less than half a dozen in Cambridge. Should be easy to find...

it does not actually show the cyclist getting hit, so no need to worry about that.

(In fact, it doesn't show much of anything not already described in comments. Can't tell much about the car at all.)
