Marc Hurwitz ran across this Big Boy in the Mt. Gilboa area of Arlington today.

I think this is the same Big Boy that was in my neighborhood on Vassal Lane in Cambridge for at least a decade.
Looks like it's the western version, and pre-1980s, not the eastern version.

These "Big Boy" items can be quite collectible. I've seen them on "Antiques Roadshow".
This isn't exactly Southern Cal, where I saw my first Big Boy. Maybe they should get him a North Face for the winter.
