Workers are continuing their work to replace the Mass. Ave. bridge over Comm. Ave. in the Back Bay this morning, as MassDOT shows us. Expect knotty traffic in the area.

The bridge is also known as the Tommy Leonard Bridge, in honor of the longtime bartender at the nearby Eliot Lounge.

I got trapped in the detor. it was nice to see the massive project with detail cops boston & state police standing around in groups chatting away, instead of directing traffic. One officer was directing traffic then his buddy pulled up and he walked away to chat. I was next to go so I asked him is it alright to turn, he looked at me then looked away ignoring me. Great job, collect your pay and the hell with the public.
