Couldn't pick a better weekend to slip off a greasy pole into the water

Greg Cook took in the 91st St. Peter's fiesta in Gloucester, the one where people try to get to the end of a greasy pole off a platform in the harbor and grab a flag.

Gloucester was one of the on the purple line places I could visit back when I was a kid. So happy to see this version of Greased Pole still around, in honor of the Star of the Sea!
