How the hell do they normally say 'Boston' in LA?

I know this is supposed to be funny (and it is), but one newcaster and weather person is more ridiculous than the next. It only serves to remind what a sad state broadcast news is in.

Everyone in Boston is totally concentrated on the amazing, incredible boys in Red and White, Right? (and other fabulous combinations available at Twins gift shop. Pink, Blue and Red, Camo, Retro)

But in LA at Los Angeles Magazine, the west cost equivalence to Boston Magazine which recently named LPH the most influential person in Boston, they have their "6 Best Things to do In LA this weekend"
https://www.lamag.com/culturefiles/the-6-best-things-to-do-in-l-a-this-w...

And the World Series is only Number Three on the list???? And we are supposed to take LA seriously as a Sports town? I mean I can totally understand the Halloween Kitten Party at Crumbs & Whiskers being ahead of #WorldSeries2018. Daddy can't resist the sight of a cute young pussy cat or two. #metoo

But P-22 Day???: https://www.facebook.com/events/2002293929987630/

Their social media page explains: "Hey fans! October 22 is now forever known as P-22 Day, by official declaration of the City of LA. That’s right, Los Angeles recognizes the importance of its resident cougars." Daddy is absolutely not going to be checking out any resident cougars while he is in LA. Cougars are so passe in New England.

Like, who can take these faux pansies seriously??? Bring on the Rams in the Championship.

Why would the "World Series" even be on anyone's radar when the Rauschenberg piece is opening?

It’s 2018 buddy, a lot of people don’t really care that much about baseball, especially the younger generations

This is correct. Football also is starting to be in the rear view mirror, especially among the young, with all the recent findings on concussions and such. Like many other things, these once hallowed institutions are crumbling a bit and there will eventually be far less emphasis on them.

Does this shtick end after the season is over or do we have to deal with it all winter too?

There is absolutely nothing amusing in this post. Is this Linda one of those weird cat people or just a kid who thinks he or she is being quirky?

We've got a long way to go yet. Once the news media runs with something like this they tend to repeat it ad infinitum. Especially of the Sox win. We're still hearing about the various daily comings and goings of Marathon survivors.

Honestly, what would our top 6 things to do look like? World Series being the top 5?

Kind of sad, IMO.

They forgot the "khed." As in "Khed, I'm sittin' on the monstah with some clam chowdah."

At least for an outsider. I was impressed at that one reporter who was able to string "wicked" and "smart" together, even if she had to think about it and mangled the pronunciations. At least she wasn't shown getting all "pahk ya cah" and "chowdah!" like the others.

It's fake, fake, fake. No matter how few facts are actually offered. Not fake like The Traitor is fake, but LA fake. Like a really skinny chicken. All feathers and little meat.
