Car hit by tree in lower Allston

Brad Squirrels reports a totally healthy tree was snapped in two by the wind - with the falling part landing on a neighbor's car behind his house on Franklin Street in lower Allston.

If it was a Norwegian Maple, that’s what the do. An Invasive tree not good in winds.

I was out clearing some local trails where I do bike rides. The wind was howling pretty good and branches were falling all over the place. After the second very large piece of tree fell withing 100 ft. of me, I decided to call it quits.
