School is CLOSED! (well, some)

And the school closings begin to roll in, and roll in, and roll in.
OK, it's only Somerville, Everett, a coupl'a places in NH, and some little private places. But there'll be more come nightfall, mark my words!
Updated: Includes Arlington, Cambridge Montessori, and a moderate variety of places west and north of the Hub; Somerville is on at least one of the lists. I'd expect many places in the center of the snow accumulation belt to cancel; but wouldn't be surprised to see many of the city schools stay open, or at least not make announcements until morning.

Dis is da supatinit
Dis is da bossin skul supatinit...
Golly, those messages sure don't improve my faith in the BPS. How about some elocution classes for the supatinit?
What message did you listen to?
We got one of those calls, too. First, it wasn't the school superintendent herself, not unless her voice has suddenly gotten a whole lot deeper. Second, her English is just fine. Third, I don't know who it was but it wasn't Tom Menino. Fourth, even if it were, so the frick what? Does the fact that he can't pronounce words to your exacting standards mean your garbage isn't picked up every week?
