Rozier is great guard for the C's! Never doubt him.

Patriots held the ball for 43:59 of 60 minutes, and they had to go into OT, where, basically, a coin flip decided the game. 43:59 should have been a ROUT.

Its almost like they want the drama of a close game, that first interception in the end zone almost came to bite them in the ass , just like that stupid loss to Miami cost them field advantage. Every play counts , not just the last few minutes, what would Vince say about all this?

My HS team played a very similar championship game many years ago. We DOMINATED the other team and lost because they had a rocket for an end and a QB w a cannon. All their offense came on 3 plays, all touchdowns, basically that was their offense. KC is similarly electric.

Possession was the game plan and it worked (and if not for 2 uncharacteristic picks, the game is a rout).

Possession decides the game, turnovers (if you make them) decide possession. I wouldn't call the win luck exactly, but wow. Don't make mistakes against KC.

A Massachusetts team and a Missouri team are competing in a championship.

There is a lunar eclipse.

The Sportzing Gods have Spoken

Indeed - methinks I have seen something similar in 04.

...that the largest city in Missouri has the name of another state.

Imagine if our largest city was called New York!

would have to chant "WE SUCK!"

n/t

The two NFL teams called "New York" are actually in New Jersey!

after having sweated through every layer of clothing during that 4th quarter and OT. My goodness.

But I do read the headlines and leads on the Boston Globes website. For most of the season all the articles (headlines) were about how the team was done, too old, etc. Now the same columnists are saying anyone to doubt the team is a fool.

Who reads these idiots? Why aren't they fired for being proved wrong? Why did they write those columns making such sweeping predictions? Serious questions from a non sports fan.

There’s an entire blog devoted to Dan Shaughnessy: “We read him so you don’t have to.”

have such a bullshit job. Money for nothing.

"Sports Commentators have such a bullshit job. Money for nothing."

Not unlike political commentators.

trust me, keep it that way. don't get caught up in grown men watching other grown men play a game. your IQ will drop.

Go Rams!

Why are you caught up in it then?

And what could be a more edifying way to spend one's time than trolling the comments of a local blog?

Tom Brady is living rent-free in your head.

Parade in 16 days? It’s been a long time since the last one, they never get old.

Can't they give the other kids the ball too?

Those Kansas City boys are not very nice. They kept taking Tommy's ball away from him.

See Green Bay vs KC Chiefs , Super Bowl One : Fred "' The Hammer " Williamson

"
Fred Williamson
] During his period of playing for the Chiefs, Williamson became one of football's first self-promoters, nurturing the nickname "The Hammer" because he used his forearm to deliver karate-style blows to the heads of opposing players, especially wide receivers. Before Super Bowl I, Williamson garnered national headlines by boasting that he would knock the Green Bay Packers starting receivers, Carroll Dale and Boyd Dowler, out of the game. He stated "Two hammers to (Boyd) Dowler, one to (Carroll) Dale should be enough".[11]

His prediction turned out to be an ironic one because "they (Green Bay) broke the hammer" as Williamson himself was knocked out of the game in the fourth quarter on the way to a 35–10 defeat. Williamson's head met the knee of the Packers' running back Donny Anderson. Williamson later suffered a broken arm from his own teammate when Chiefs linebacker Sherrill Headrick fell on him.

Chiefs Kingdom is blaming the coin.

But in all seriousness, the NFL should move back the starting position in OT. Start the ball at the 10 yard line to help even up the odds. Keep moving the ball back until teams that win the coin toss start going 2nd.

Won the coin toss...Drew is playing golf.

I think the NCAA has it right.

Alternating possessions, and on the third iterations TDs must go for 2pt conversions.

For NFL I'd start at the 50 not the 25.

And gets real cold.

...but since he seems incapable of learning, I hope his typing fingers freeze. Temporarily. Because he's an idiot on this subject.

I have great agility and leg strength because Edlemen and I have the same "pharmacist".

Honestly, are any of these Pats wins legit?

... spelling.

An ignorant idiot at that.

Everyone knows that SoBo’s favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers, led by their quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who was never indicted for sexual assault in the state of Nevada. I mean, some people choose their favorite player for different reasons, and I am sure Ben must have some redeeming qualities.

...your Patriots have reached the Super Bowl for the 23rd time in the last 6 seasons!
