He looks like he isn't missing many meals and is properly concerned about the hooman and doggo.

According to a posting in one of the West Roxbury Facebook groups (Chronicles of West Roxbury II, not to be confused with the original Chronicles of West Roxbury), there are a couple of West Roxbury residents who are leaving food out for Wile E.

That's really stupid. Now he expects to get food from humans, he will lose his fear of them, he won't avoid contact with them, he may seek it out -- and eventually he'll get killed because of it. Probably sooner rather than later.

Looks to me that he still has a healthy fear of humans.

Depending on where/how people put out the ACME Bone and Joint Diet Kibble, he may just associate it with manna from heaven rather than humans.

Not good in the long run, yes. In the short run it may bring him into contact with traps and rehabilitators.

He trotted down Montview (towards Mt Vernon) this morning at about 10:30. My son was outside with our cat and a woman walking her dogs alerted him. Still limping, but not afraid of people.
