Baggage-conveyor belt at Logan makes like one of those 50-year-old Red Line trains and dies

No baggage accepted at Terminal E

R shows us the scene at Terminal E around 8:45 p.m.:

Wow - baggage check-in conveyor belt not working in terminal E. Emirates has put Check in on hold! Nice job Logan

"Yes! Because mechanical things never just break on their own! Can’t blame they don’t have a backup system just waiting for the 1 te every 5 yrs it’s needed!! Outrage!"

That "Nice job Logan" crap from the OP really was unnecessary. S**t happens.

The sarcasm is so obnoxious. Especially how the person finishes it off with “Outrage!” What a tool. This is the type of person that tweets “Really? Really???”, “Wow.. just wow” and “I can’t even...” in response to stuff all over Twitter.

I don’t even agree with the premise of the Tweet. Luggage belts should be maintained like any other machinery. We don’t just install them and keep using them until they break down.

You've never seen a belt break down? I have. More than once, and I'm not any kind of frequent flier. It's an inconvenience, not a catastrophe. If it makes you miss a connecting flight, it's a big inconvenience, but still not a threat to life and limb. It's just one of hundreds of things that can delay air travel.

Although if you have a connecting flight then your luggage is usually sent to your final destination instead of you having to get your luggage and check it back in

International flights mean you have to get your luggage through Customs and check it back in for your connecting flight. Which can make you miss the connecting flight, once the luggage is delayed.

the proper response is "Thanks, Obama."

Isn't the whole point of twitter to whine about inconsequential crap?

to be inconvenienced, maybe 2020 will be a better year?

The maintenance dept. needs to stock up on thingamajigs in case the whatchamacallit breaks on the belts, they are notorious for breaking down.
