An alert citizen looks up and files a 311 complaint about the two mistakes on the signs at the intersection of Shawmut Avenue and Williams Street in Roxbury - one a bit more obvious even to people not from immediately around there.

Are you one of the people who would scratch out the "p" and the" th" on the old "no passing through" signs on the T train cars? :-) There was not a single car on any line that didn't have those letters scratched out in the 70s and 80s.

Guess no one checks their work anymore....I sent in a 311 over a year ago for a bus stop sign on Centre Street in West Roxbury that said Wen St., vs Wren.....
