East Boston church vandalized by somebody familiar with crazed anti-Semitic conspiracy theory

Sacred Heart Parish in East Boston vandalized by somebody familiar with QAnon

An East Boston resident walking to the T this morning noticed somebody had thrown a rock through one of the stained-glass windows at Sacred Heart Parish on Brooks Street.

And then she spotted the graffiti on a church door referencing QAnon, whose followers once claimed that Hillary Clinton helped run a child sex ring out of the basement of a Washington, DC pizza place that has no basement and who more recently claimed that John F. Kennedy Jr. faked his death and would stand with Donald Trump on July 4th (ed. note: He didn't) and replace Mike Pence on the 2020 Republican ballot. Regardless of their changing motifs, one thing remains constant: Their hatred of Jews.

"I’m disturbed to see this level of hate in the neighborhood I live in," the resident said.

"Good people on both sides" - President Trump

LOL, if you're going to use the quote, use it correctly. The world could use less fake news.

It's a bit of a read, especially when a reporter gets Trumped, but lets try, just for shits and laughs..."https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2019/apr/26/context-tru...

...
Trump: "George Washington was a slave owner. Was George Washington a slave owner? So will George Washington now lose his status? Are we going to take down -- excuse me, are we going to take down statues to George Washington? How about Thomas Jefferson? What do you think of Thomas Jefferson? You like him?"

Reporter: "I do love Thomas Jefferson."

Trump: "Okay, good. Are we going to take down the statue? Because he was a major slave owner. Now, are we going to take down his statue?

"So you know what, it’s fine. You’re changing history. You’re changing culture. And you had people -- and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists -- because they should be condemned totally. But you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists. Okay? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly.

"Now, in the other group also, you had some fine people. But you also had troublemakers, and you see them come with the black outfits and with the helmets, and with the baseball bats. You had a lot of bad people in the other group."

lol @ you thinking the complete quote makes the sentiment any less idiotic

But, the quote I cited is true, unlike the popular but untrue internet meme that passes for reporting these days.

are you implying he didn’t say it?

Trump: "Excuse me, excuse me. They didn’t put themselves -- and you had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides. You had people in that group.”

If you ever asked yourself what you would do or how you'd respond if alive during the holocaust, Jim Crow, or the fight against the Vietnam war...

...well, you're doing it.

How is throwing a rock through the window of a Catholic church anti-Semitic?

There were two things going on: The rock throwing and the graffiti. The rock throwing is anti-Catholic. The graffiti is anti-semitic because it references a ludicrous anti-semitic conspiracy theory (and it is stupid because the whole thing is stupid).

Seems like the alleged vandal isn’t the only one who was familiar with Anti-Semitism lingo. That sharp eyed East Boston resident sure is one smart cookie. What’s written on the door looks like a foreign language to me. Thank God for the always concerned citizens of the fine moderate city of Boston.

The name is Scotsman ... Notrue Scotsman

I, however, did. The resident was more concerned about the basic idea of vandalism to house of worship.

Anybody that wants to kill time, hell just go to www.qanon.app. By the time it loads (I guess it loads everything ever written), the scroll bar on the right will look like a friggin dash. I didn't see a lot of anti Semitic remarks (this was about a year ago) but it was rife with some truly amazing dot-connecting.

OK, my take on the graffiti:
David de Rothschild? Family got boned under the rule of Francois Mitterand in 1981.
Fatass? Um, not entirely sure what the hell that means.
JFK Jr.? Damn, that one upsets me a bit. JFKjr was a boatmate and diving friend of Barry Clifford in his search and work on the Whydah. If I'm not mistaken, he (Clifford) participated in the search for the plane that he (with and his wife's sister) was killed in.
8- Hitler. Has to be Hitler. Cannot be anything else. Should be 88, but maybe they didn't know that...
Mary88....'comment'
Other commenter...'You're obviously a Nazi because of the '88'
Mary88...'That's the year I was born'

Not sure how the nested parenthesis came about, but I did learn its meaning. An example:

Hey (((Roman))), hope you're doing well.

Does Trump live rent free in the brains of all you feeble minded people out there?

He's insane and has nuclear capability ... well, only the "feeble minded" wouldn't be worried.

I've deliberately not set out a list of reasons to delete posts, because I know some of you are very clever and will either find ways to get around it or go right up to the edge and stir up shit and I no longer have the time or patience for that sort of crap.

But here's one of the rules: If you're going to just declare yourself an anti-gay bigot and try to turn this sort of post into a place to let your gay hatred fly, nope, that's getting deleted.

Moderating Uhub must be a real drag. As someone who generally likes the comments, it's sad to see when threads get overrun by trolls. It's happening with enough frequently now that it makes me wonder if people are being directed here from one of the hate sites specifically for that purpose.

Would be interesting to see the logs...

and the thread before it was trashed.

AG was fully justified in dumping the whole thing.

This is an example of excessive REACTION -- as Newton said

for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction

In all other cases where a Nut is involved such as the barefoot guy with the camera, ski-hat and backpack who tried to steal a baby carriage with a baby in it in Cambridge -- we understand -- its just a Nut

Only a loony lone perp is involved --- nothing for the public to worry about -- and then thank M. Stanley Dukakis for why they are all out on the street --- and let it go

However -- for some reason whenever the loonyness can possibly be linked in any labyrinthine ethereal manner to: either a comment by the President, an association with MAGA or the Tea Party, or even a comment by someone commenting on the President or any of the other related topics -- Well then suddenly everything is a Big Threatening Conspiracy ultimately controlled by Putin

Give it a rest -- in fact if the media just ignored providing any coverage for most of these chaotic random events -- a lot of the loons would go back to talking to themselves about Quantum Gravity and Nietzsche, or E-8, Spooky Action at a Distance and the eternal soul

Easy enough to dismiss it as an isolated incident, but the scrawlings affiliating it with a known batshit crazy conspiracy group of ill repute say otherwise.
