CharlieGates do not recycle

Apparently, if you are not quite spry enough, the new CharlieGates can close right on you - and they will hurt:

... Why isn't there a sensor on these, like elevator doors, so they don't close on a body. I was one step behind the guy exiting in front of me; and I've never seen these new gates close THAT fast behind someone exiting. ...

I was wondering what would happen if I went too slowly through the gate. Now, I now. Thanks for being the guinea pig here.

There is a sensor on the gates, on both sides. The one on the platform side of the gates always opens it - and begs for fare evasion even if it does sound a buzzer. The sensor on the entrance side of the gates holds the doors open until you pass through...

my theory on why the gates closed: T incompetence? probably. Or maybe, just maybe, taiaselene is actually a vampire!
